cdma2000 Receiver(SeeGull™LX)
PCTEL's cdma2000 scanning receiver is a DSP-based software radio that provides unparalleled precision and user-defined options for the measurement of cdma2000 networks. PCTEL's scanning receivers are used globally to optimize wireless network performance via drive test and measurement, tower site survey, base station monitoring, and wireless market analysis tools.

Operational Modes:
All 512 Pilot Scan
Selectable Peak Ec/lo. Peak is measured as the peak correlation within the PN window. Selectable aggregate and peak Ec/lo. Aggregate power is estimated by combining the powers for all correlatorbins above the delay spread threshold. Pilot delay and delay spread reported.
Top N Pilot Scan
Returns top N pilots in ascending power. Where N ¡Ü32.
Scan Pilot List
Return aggregate and peak Ec/lo, pilot delay, and delay spread for each pilot in the list. Lists downloadable to the receiver.
Temporal Analyzer (Zoomed Pilot) Scan
Returns correlator output points for specified pilot over up to ±128 chip range.
CW Mode
RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) in a narrow bandwidth. Tuning resolution matches AMPS or PCS band requirements (30 kHz or 50 kHz).
Code Domain Scan
For each RF channel, Code Domain Scan allows the determination of where the signal energy is into the code-separated channels. Reports Ec/Ep (Walsh Code Channel energy to Pilot Channel energy ratio) for each Code Channel in the Walsh Channel user list. A Walsh index in a user list takes an integer value from a range of 0 to 127. The return information also includes Ep/lo (Pilot Channel energy to Signal energy ratio) and the lo Value.
High-Stability HoldOverOption
The Ho
ld Over mode allows for maintenance of CDMA timing for up to 4 hours when a GPS signal not present. Examples include indoor applications, driving through tunnels, or driving in urban areas where maintaining CDMA timing is difficult.
